What About Classmates Who Did Not Graduate with Us?

This is a brief suggestion that we start a list of classmates we remember that may appreciate an invitation to the reunion. They may have changed and attended a county school, moved away due to family reasons, or other circumstances. Do we know of any we can reach? This is probably an assignment for the local people more than those who have not lived in Logan county for close to 35+ years. I would not know where to start. I mentioned a few names in a commont to a previous post that I recall. I have thought of some more (1 or 2).

Rack your Brains!

And also, in case you can not tell, I do not type any better now than I did in Personal Typing with Mr. Reeder! Cathy, you set the bar to high. You piano players always type better.

  1. I think I probably type better than I play the piano at this point - certainly get more practice! And the memories of typing to Mr. Reeder's favorite old oldies...

My contribution to the memories of classmates who didn't graduate with us has appeared already in comments to other posts, but I'll add them here again, in the interest of tidiness (hats off to Miss Hedges!).

Doug Kurtz (who was in elementary school - perhaps K-3 with us) now lives here in Las Cruces where I live and is a neighbor.

Frances Pate - moved to Knoxville sometime around 5th or 6th grade I believe. I've lost touch, but have found someone on the internet who may be her. I'll call tonight to see if this is the right Frances Pate.

  2. Bingo! I found Frances - still living near Knoxville. She's a CPA, so tonight is her equivalent of Christmas Eve, I think. =) She's married and has a son who is a junior in high school. It was great to talk to her.
